Rawganic is the creation of its founder, Swami who created a business that would combine her passion for chocolate with her vegan ethics. Rawganic chocolate is a handmade chocolate bar using the highest quality raw, certified organic ingredients to create chocolate that is truly good for you. The chocolate is made using cold pressed cacao butter mixed with cold pressed cacao. Unlike most chocolate that contains sugar as the first ingredient, Rawganic chocolate’s first ingredient is cacao butter. Cacao butter is the natural fat found in cacao beans, and studies have shown that eating raw cacao butter will not effect the level of potentially harmful cholesterol. Rawganic chocolate is sweetened with agave nectar, which is a low glycemic, natural sweetener from the cactus plant. Rawganic chocolate is made with only fair traded cacao products, which creates a better future for small farmers and promotes sustainability in developing countries. Fair trade practices also help to eliminate poverty, as well as child labour and abuse. A percentage of the profits from the sale of Rawganic products will be donated to charities each month in an effort to help save the world's voiceless animals.
