I am Jess Causley and I love food. My passion is food products made in small kitchens in regional Australia. I try to stay away from factory made food with all their artificial ingredients.
I love the small producers as you can taste the love that’s been bottled. If possible I buy local to reduce food milage and to do my part in keeping the local economi going.
In my business, Causley Fresh Deli, I search out these small, great producers. I stock a whole range of alternatives to the comercial supermarket products, just like a farmer’s market.
I am Swedish, but is now an Australian as well and I have lived in Australia for 10 years. The food I love to cook is a mix between the Australian multi culture and my Swedish heritage.
I have a husband, Karl, and four kids born between 2003 and 2009. They all share my passion for food and we do a lot of cooking together. I take great proud in feeding my children well and teaching them how to cook.
